What age groups do you accept at Munchkin Meadow Preschool?
We welcome children 6 weeks – 4th grade. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support each developmental stage, preparing your child for kindergarten and beyond.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am – 5:30pm. Our flexible schedule options are designed to accommodate both full-time and part-time care needs.
What curriculum or learning approach do you use?
Our curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate, focused on promoting growth in social, cognitive, physical, and emotional areas. We encourage exploration, creativity, and a love of learning through hands-on activities and guided discovery.
What safety and security measures are in place?
Your child’s safety is our top priority. We maintain a secure, keypad-locked entry, and all staff are certified in CPR and first aid. We also follow strict cleaning and health procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes! We provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack each day. All meals are nutritious and kid-friendly, and we’re happy to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions with advance notice.
Do the children take naps during the day?
Yes, we have a daily naptime from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Each child is provided with a cozy space to rest and recharge. We encourage a calm, quiet environment to help little ones relax, whether they sleep or just enjoy some downtime.
Is there a curriculum?
Yes! At Munchkin Meadow Preschool, we use the Funnydaffer® curriculum, a comprehensive, play-based program that supports early learning through fun, hands-on activities. It’s designed to nurture creativity, social skills, early literacy, math, and more—all while keeping your child engaged and excited to learn.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes, we offer transportation to and from Red Mill, York Haven, Fishing Creek, and Newberry. Our safe, reliable transportation service helps make your daily routine easier and ensures your child gets to and from preschool comfortably.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we do! We offer a 10% discount for families with more than one child enrolled, and a 5% discount if you pay for the full month in advance. It’s our way of helping make quality care a little more affordable for your family.
